On the spacious ground floor, with direct access to the conservatories, you’ll find summer fun all year round. Sitting around one of the white-covered tables, you can take in the amazing view while enjoying an exquisite meal. We are at your service while you sit back and enjoy the landscape — with the breeze from the open windows in the summer and surrounded by cosy warmth in the winter. Come and experience our interpretation of a country tavern with a modern twist.
Terrace and garden

More awaits just up a flight of stairs: the entire first floor serves as a viewing platform of the phenomenal landscape surrounding Gasthof Luegeten. Here, you’ll have the entire lake at your feet, from Zurich to Rapperswil to Obersee. Whether it’s a dinner for two, a Sunday brunch with family or celebrating with an entire wedding party: at Gasthof Luegeten you’ll find even more enjoyment than if you were floating on cloud nine.
Our menu: Locally sourced and steeped in Swiss tradition
Gasthof Luegeten is located in an area rich with local specialties and regional ingredients. The products grown and raised here are all of exceptional quality. And we aim to get as many of them as possible onto our tables. We put our heart and soul into our menu, which features classic Swiss recipes with a dash of Mediterranean inspiration. Anywhere we can, we source our meat, vegetables and fish from local and regional producers. Bread and baked goods come from a local baker. And our beer is also regional. We are proud of everything that flourishes here in our soil and, most importantly, of everything that our chefs can dream up to serve our guests.
